Now you can stop unwanted promotional calls or messages on your Loop mobile from telemarketers, advertising agency & etc., by registering yourself at NCPR (National Customer Preference Registry). DND (Do Not Disturb registry) has been replaced by NCPR, know more about NCPR (National Customer Preference Registry).
Upon registration with NCPR (old DND registry) you will not receive any unwanted promotional Calls / SMS / Messages and you will get confirmation within 24 hours with Unique Registration Number. And the DND services (now called as NCPR) activation will happen within 7 days.

To Register NCPR – National Customer Preference Registry (replaced by DND registry) Services
You have to choose from below options.
Option 1: Fully Blocked Category. SMS START 0 to 1909
If you wish you completely block all kind of SMS and do not want to receive any kind of promotional / unwanted commercial messages on your Loop mobile, Send SMS “START 0” to 1909 (1909 is a toll-free number and no charges will be attracted).
Option 2: Partially Blocked Category. SMS START < category number> to 1909
Do you feel like by activating DND on your Loop mobile, you miss latest updates and commercial information about latest Bikes & Cars in the market, movies updates from your favorite websites, here you have an option.
Choose from your favorite category below you wish to receive commercial / promotional SMS and still keep all others away by activating DND services on your Loop mobile number. Send SMS START 4 to 1909, if you wish receive messages only Health related. Like way you can choose any category you wish and also you can choose multiple categories to receive messages, i.e., you wish to receive Education and Health related commercial / promotional SMS, still activate DND on your Loop mobile number, SMS START 3,4 to 1909.

Try sending SMS START 0 to 1909, still there is a error call 1909 from your Loop mobile to activate DND.
Write START0 and send it on 1909. dont give any space between START and 0.

It seems like Loop mobile is having a technical problem with their 1909 service. Better you contact your customer care.
Actually i contacted loop team but still tehy were not able to slove the problem as they replied that their “system is down”.

I HAVE RECEIVED AN SMS FROMTHEM THAT dnd WILL BE ACTIVATED (except for consumer goods and automobiles) in 7 days..!!!!

Apart from sending SMS, you can dial 1909 to activate NCPR (old DND) on your Loop mobile number. Also you can call your customer care team and ask their assistance in this regard.
There seems to be technical issue with Loop mobile for DND.

It is a common problem with Loop mobile, try sending START0 to 1909 without space in between or call 1909 from your Loop mobile to activate DND (now NCPR).

I have been facing the same problem to activate DND service,
Today I have sent mail regarding DND station START0 without space in between and i have immediately receive reply that the same has been activated your request has been received and the same will be effectice within 7 days and i have recd docket no for the same.

Absolutely you will get rid of all the unwanted calls / SMS. Even after NCPR activation, if you got any unsolicited calls / SMS, learn how to register a complaint.
Write START0 and send it on 1909. dont put any space between START and 0.

My prepaid loop mobile number is 9821133362. i am working as an Inspector in Mubai Police since last 26 years. I have tried to activate DND or NCPR on several occasions. I am getting a reply that currently the service is not available from masters. These so called masters are not higher than the Apex court of the country. I am continuously being disturbed by promotional messages. Should I sue Loop mobile for Mental harassment and contempt of court?

As a consumer, you have every right to sue your service provider.
Before that, try to send SMS START0 (no space between) to 1909 from your mobile number to subscribe to NCPR (old DND) or call 1909.
If failed, as we said you can sue Loop in the consumer court.
I am a new customer to loop mobile no – 9004095523. I have done an MNP from airtel to loop. Today for the first time i am trying to contact the customer care team and amazed to see that the team is disconnecting my calls again and again. At once i heard from the background saying that “Postpaid customers dont have any work and calling the customer care so dont answer”.
This is really amazzing….. Need to work on it!!!!

Normally to subscribe to NCPR for any mobile network, you have to send START 0 (with space between START & O) to 1909.
Since, loop mobile has configured their server wrongly / not following TRAI guidelines or any reasons, START0 (without space between START & O) message to 1909 is working with Loop.
As you failed sending message without space, try sending with space. Still failed, call 1909 from your mobile.
