MTS DND | Activate MTS Do Not Disturb Services at NCPR

Now you can stop unwanted promotional calls or messages on your MTS mobile from telemarketers, advertising agency & etc., by registering yourself at NCPR (National Customer Preference Registry). DND (Do Not Disturb registry) has been replaced by NCPR, know more about NCPR (National Customer Preference Registry).
Upon registration with NCPR (old DND registry) you will not receive any unwanted promotional Calls / SMS / Messages and you will get confirmation within 24 hours with Unique Registration Number. And the DND services (now called as NCPR) activation will happen within 7 days.

To Register NCPR – National Customer Preference Registry (replaced by DND registry) Services
You have to choose from below options.
Option 1: Fully Blocked Category. SMS START 0 to 1909
If you wish you completely block all kind of SMS and do not want to receive any kind of promotional / unwanted commercial messages on your MTS mobile, Send SMS “START 0” to 1909 (1909 is a toll-free number and no charges will be attracted).
Option 2: Partially Blocked Category. SMS START < category number> to 1909
Do you feel like by activating DND on your MTS mobile, you miss latest updates and commercial information about latest Bikes & Cars in the market, movies updates from your favorite websites, here you have an option.
Choose from your favorite category below you wish to receive commercial / promotional SMS and still keep all others away by activating DND services on your MTS mobile number. Send SMS START 4 to 1909, if you wish receive messages only Health related. Like way you can choose any category you wish and also you can choose multiple categories to receive messages, i.e., you wish to receive Education and Health related commercial / promotional SMS, still activate DND on your MTS mobile number, SMS START 3,4 to 1909.

My MTS mobile number 9136145205 is a DND registerednumber. Despite it, today I have received a SMS from 08285537991 stating “Get personal Loan upto 15-18% PA from HDFC bank…” at 11.45 am on 29.9.11. Your DND number 1909 is totally inefficient and non-workable, whenever I called it up, it disconnects automatically. Your 1500 service is equally bad. Hope I get response on it.

Al tough you registered with DND, you may have subscribed your mobile number to other services like Job Sites, Matrimonial sites, movie tickets, deals & discounts, onlie free SMS and other sites. Where you authorize them to share your MTS mobile number with their partner to send messages, here partners means nothing but they sell the database to anyone who pays money.
So check where all you registered, alternatively lodge a complaint with MTS mobile with below format:-
COMP TEL NO XXXXXXXXXX, dd/mm/yy, Time hh:mm
In your case it will be something like below:-
COMP TEL NO 8285537991, 29/09/11, Time 11:45 and follow up with customer care if no response in 7 days.

sar, mera MTS mob. No 8432626564 hai Mai feer sey SMS STATR karbana chahata hu. Plese Mera SMS another compney se chalu karbane ke karpa kare.

sir mera MTS no 9999700504 hai mai aapney no par DND ki service active karwana chahta hu es ke liye maine kai baar cust care me request bhi di thi aur 1909 par START DND ka sms bhi kiya tha par abhi tak mere no par dnd ki service active nahi hui hai. so plz i request mer no par ye service active ki jaye.

Ab aap START 0 bolke 1909 ko apni MTS mobile se SMS kijeye, aur 7 din mein aapka MTS mobile mein DND activate hogyega.

MTS abhi bhi purana system pe hai kaam chala raha hai, aap START DND likhkar 1909 par SMS kijiye.
Agar isse bhi kaam nahi hua to hume bhatayye.
sir ji. mai ye bhi tri kar ke dekh chuka hu. es ke alwa es ki complaint jab maine cust. care me ki toh unhone mujey kha ki aap ke no par dnd active hai. par sir ji ye sewa abhi tak start nahi hui hai aap chaye toh DND check system me mera mobile no dal ke check kar saktey hai. so plzzzzz again i say to you help me for start DND service.

MTS ki isaab se DND activation keliye START DND sms bhejna tha. TRAI ki isaab se START 0 bhejna tha. Hum dono bhi try karchuke the.
Aur aap ki number NCPR mein registered bhi nahi hai.
Abhi aapke pas 5 option baaki hai :-
1) START0 likhkar 1909 pe message bhejiye (no gap between START and 0).
2) Aapki MTS mobile se 1909 par call kijiye aur udhar DND activate karnekeliye option chuniye.
3) Customer care par complaint dijiye aur jab tak aap ka number pe DND activate nahi hoga, aap har ladthe rahiye. Mail pe aur call karke.
4) Consumer court aur TRAI pe complaint kijiye.
5) Option 3 & 4 kamse kam 1 aur 2 mahene minimum lagenge. Isliye MTS se kisi doosra mobile connection lijiye aur MNP ka help se aap ka MTS number hi istimal karsakthe hai.
