Now you can change your Mobile operator without changing your Mobile number, by availing Mobile Number Portability services.
This guide is for current Aircel subscribers. If you want to become Aircel subscriber using Number portability and keep your current mobile number, read Aircel MNP.

Aircel subscribers avail Number portability service.
For Aircel MNP, follow the below simple 3 Steps to switch your Aircel number to other using number porting services.
Step 1
Obtain “Unique Porting Code” from your current Mobile operator – Aircel.
Send SMS ‘PORT <your 10 digit mobile number>’ to 1900 from your Aircel mobile to get Unique Porting Code.
Step 2
Call executive of your desired Mobile operator, fill CAF (Customer Application Form) & Porting form or visit their office.
Submit the form with required documents like photo ID, Address proof, also if you are a post-paid customer submit your last bill & last bill paid receipt.
Step 3
Obtain a New SIM card from your new mobile operator.
You will receive an acknowledgement SMS from +1901 within 4 days for your Aircel Portability request. Within 3 days from then you will receive SMS from +1901 confirming your port out request succesful.
After 12pm midnight, mobile services from Aircel will be stopped and you will have to use the New SIM obtained from another Mobile Operator keeping your current mobile number.

Is your Aircel mobile connection 90 days old?
If yes, ensure that you are sending SMS ‘PORT /your 10 digit mobile number/’ to 1900 from your Aircel mobile to get Unique Porting Code.
If you are doing right and not getting UPC, you are every right to port your number and contact your customer care and lodge a complaint, do not forget to take the Complaint / Request reference from them.

Presently im using vodafone service i want to port to aircel i have a unique code:VX493846.
i have got this sms on 04.01.2012 till now there is no sms or call from aircel customer care if i give this code to our retail shop its showing has code is error what can i do now ?

Get a new code and call the customer care / visit offices of the Aircel to port.
That is how it works.

i have port out idea to tata,
i am port succesfull after 60 days my no seen invalid sim,
custmer care or noddle officer sayas,
he can’t receive my document,
tell me sir 60 days company no call or sms me my document nt recived,
he told the number gone i can’t take again,what i do?
