Now you can change your Mobile operator without changing your Mobile number, by availing Mobile Number Portability services.
This guide is for current Uninor subscribers. If you want to become Uninor subscriber using Number portability and keep your current mobile number, read Uninor MNP.

Uninor subscribers avail Number portability service.
For Uninor MNP, follow the below simple 3 Steps to switch your Uninor number to other using number porting services.
Step 1
Obtain “Unique Porting Code” from your current Mobile operator – Uninor.
Send SMS ‘PORT <your 10 digit mobile number>’ to 1900 from your Uninor mobile to get Unique Porting Code.
Step 2
Call executive of your desired Mobile operator, fill CAF (Customer Application Form) & Porting form or visit their office.
Submit the form with required documents like photo ID, Address proof, also if you are a post-paid customer submit your last bill & last bill paid receipt.
Step 3
Obtain a New SIM card from your new mobile operator.
You will receive an acknowledgement SMS from +1901 within 4 days for your Uninor Portability request. Within 3 days from then you will receive SMS from +1901 confirming your port out request succesful.
After 12pm midnight, mobile services from Uninor will be stopped and you will have to use the New SIM obtained from another Mobile Operator keeping your current mobile number.

its west and buckwaas service.waste of using it.come put of that blady network.i have submitted mnp form along with valid proofs three times.they are stopping my services.uninor is the west of all the networks…. mostly the custmor care representatives dont have any responsibility and their interaction with customers is not at all good and services are worst
i forwarded all the document but my number not still reflected in uninor

While given request for porting,you must have given a SIM card from your new mobile operator. You have to use that SIM card from the time specified by your new mobile operator.
If your old SIM card is still working, means the porting request has not been fulfilled. Contact the executive / customer care.

Ensure that you are sending SMS ‘PORT /your 10 digit mobile number/’ to 1900.
